My Dreams of Ireland

Dreams come true apparently, and this is me trying to achieve that and prove it!

Instead of repeating myself I'm going to show some of the places that have inspired, calmed and restored me.

Sligo...

In an ideal world this is where I would move to in a heartbeat; but the world isn't ideal so instead I'll be relocating as close as I can.

Rosses Point...

There's something about this place that speaks to my heart and mind. It is so peaceful and calming.

Strandhill...

Even on a rainy day in September, this place is some special kind of magic, bringing peace to a troubled mind and soul. Add in the best coffee shop/café in the form of Shells, and not forgetting ice cream from Mammy Johnston's, then it's a place to revisit numerous times.

Hazelwood...

Peaceful, tranquil and yet somehow wild. Whether sitting to take in the scenery, or walking along the pathways it is a truly beautiful place.

I went out to the hazel wood,
Because a fire was in my head,
And cut and peeled a hazel wand,
And hooked a berry to a thread;
And when white moths were on the wing,
And moth-like stars were flickering out,
I dropped the berry in a stream
And caught a little silver trout.
